October Newsletter – CPST Certification Course and Fall Events!
Hello all – I hope everyone had a great Child Passenger Safety week! We are gearing up for our next CPST certification course that kicks off the last weekend of October and concludes during the first weekend of November. We also have a large number of car seat check events planned for this fall….
We are almost at the end of Child Passenger Safety Week 2022, so leaving you with a final statistic. Sadly, only about 20% of all caregivers reach out to a CPST for a car seat check.
Please reach out to us or find one of our upcoming car seat check events. Attending an event is completely FREE, and the misuse rate we see at check events can easily be 75%.
Therefore, final call to action – find a car seat check event if you haven't made it to one. If you have, please share this post and encourage someone you know to get to a car seat check event!
It's Thursday and today we're getting back to basics. Manuals – both car seat and vehicle – are your starting point for any car seat installation.
Any CPST will tell you that car seats can be difficult, but so can vehicles, and adding the complications of daily life only increase the complexity! Caregivers that have read their manuals are much more likely to get their car seat installed correctly, so settle in with your manuals for some quality reading time.
